President Obama Shuns ANOTHER Nobel Prize winner- Lech Walesa

President Obama Shuns Lech Walesa – Rory Cooper – National Review Online.

Lech Walesa was once a trade-union activist. He was often arrested for speaking his mind against Communist oppression behind the Iron Curtain in Poland and for defying the Soviet Union. He was an electrician who, with no higher education, led one of the most profound freedom movements of the 20th century — Solidarity. He became president of Poland and swept in reforms, pushing the Soviet Union out of his homeland and moving the country toward a free-market economy and individual liberty. And President Obama doesn’t want him to set foot in the White House.”

Read and weep as I did. Some of the comments on that article are right on the money too! I especially like this one-

Lech Walesa should feel proud — he now joins Winston Churchill and Bibi Netanyahu in the small, but growing, club of those Officially Disapproved of by Corpseman Choomboy.

Obama’s Enemies List is less an Enemies List than an Honor Roll.

As the article points out, Obama did the same to yet another Nobel Prize winner- the Dalai Lama.  What Obama does not want to have any REAL Nobel winners around? Winners who actually ACCOMPLISHED something in their lives? As opposed to his winning the award for breathing?

I was furious when I first read the article – then I had a very very creepy thought.

Is this in any way related to his open mike message to the Russian Poobah? Remember that one?

Wouldn’t want to piss off his Socialist/Communist buddies by having Lech Walesa- a major player in the fall of the Soviet Union- accepting The Medal of Freedom for a deceased member of the Polish Underground of WWII.
