I Bet You Do Better Than the College Professors!

Got this link in an e-mail from my big sis. Check it out! Take the test and come back and leave your score in the comments!

Civic Literacy Exam

Are you more knowledgeable than the average citizen? The average score for all 2,508 Americans taking the following test was 49%; college educators scored 55%. Can you do better? Questions were drawn from past ISI surveys, as well as other nationally recognized exams.

  1. My Score
    “You answered 31 out of 33 correctly — 93.94 %”

    Maybe I should start teaching?

  2. Nope–not dumb enough 😉

  3. “You answered 28 out of 33 correctly — 84.85 %”

Crap – and I don’t even remember seeing half the answers I missed! LOL

Oh well. I worked on TAXES and paperwork all day. But based on the “Average” even at this rate, I could be a guest lecturer – NO! Wait! I KNOW! I could be a Professor of Constitutional Law!

  4. Maybe even President!

  5. I’m embarrassed. I only scored 70% – but I’m a Canuck!

    • HT- At 70% you scored far higher than the college “educators” that took the test.
And in their convoluted grading system- you get an A!

When i saw the part about the 55% for the college educators it all became clear. No wonder we have an idiot in the oval.
And the 49% for the average American makes me angry and ashamed.
It does prove my point that we need fewer electives in high school and more Civics and History classes!

  6. I got 29 out of 33 – 87.88%.
Can I be president? After all, Orrick-borns can be prez now….

  7. Hey, NES I’d vote for you – if I had a vote, but I don’t. But I’d cheat to vote for you.

    • HT- there is no more cheating remember? The ACORN and OFA groups believe in vote early, vote often, in multiple cities, counties and states.
We should turn it on them- sign up and get on their buses and vote against their candidates. The voting booth is still private, for now.
Oh wait- can we afford the vaccines we would need? And could we all restrain ourselves?
Nah- we would probably end up in jail for manslaughter.

    • You’re the best, HT. I’d have funds transferred from the Gaza strip to pay you!

  8. Bogged down right now with work. Will have to come back to the teest later.

  9. I thought I rocked it at 67% until I saw the above comments. Now I feel like a dodo.

    • Hi Compulsive! You did far better than the “average American” or the “college educator” they tested.
Come to think of it- who are these “average Americans”? And “college educators”?
Was the test given only to those under the influence of the hope and change crowd?
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you here again!

  10. I knew it was bad, but there are just no words PMM…no words.

  11. “You answered 29 out of 33 correctly — 87.88 %”

Shocker. Guess elementary school was fruitful after all.

  12. Hi PMM! Hope things are coming along dandy.

  13. What Crier said. I’m worried.

  14. Ignore if you don’t like this kind of stuff. I was trying to figure out the new not improved youtube sharing – turns out I have to copy the link from the browser- not the share code anymore. Hah! So am leaving this here to remind myself. Google sucks.

  15. I must really be dumb…the only thing I get when I hit the link is the message that there is an error. Oh well, I’ll just assume that Obama would fail the test because he often confuses the title “President of the United States” with “King of the World”.

  16. Happy Easter, PMM! I’m sure you’re in church right now singing your heart out! I’m going to the latest Mass, 12:30 pm, it’s easier to get in and get a seat because by that time the crowds have died down a bit more and I can find parking close enough so my mom and her friend from her building can walk to the Church.

    Have a great day!
