Brave Not So New World

The more I read, investigate and learn about theDemocrat party the less inclined I become to ever vote for them again. What set me off today was this-

Party Considers Legalization Efforts in Swing States Amid Signs California Measure Is Exciting Young, Liberal Voters

For those who are unaware California has a proposition on the ballot for legalizing marijuana.  Just a few quick excerpts from the article-

Party strategists and marijuana-legalization advocates are discussing whether to push for similar ballot questions in 2012 in Colorado and Nevada—both expected to be crucial to President Barack Obama’s re-election—and Washington state, which will have races for governor and seats in both houses of Congress.

Democratic pollster Andrew Myers found in a December 2009 survey in Colorado that 45% of Obama “surge voters”—people voting for the first time in 2008—said they would be more interested in turning out again if marijuana legalization were on the ballot. “If you are 18 to 29, it’s far and away the most compelling reason to go out and vote,” Mr. Myers said.

So Barry can’t get his base motivated without some other incentive? (Remember the free concerts and such during the primaries?) Have any of these youngsters ever read “Brave New World?”

Bread, circuses and pot. JFG! So we will have uniformed stoned children voting for an uninformed, unqualified con man. JFG!

  2. Isn’t it just like the “New Democrats” to actually think pot is a motivator. Doh. They will all forget to vote.

      The media keeps hyping the youth vote and how great the turn out was-
      As you have said- this is why we should not let children pick Presidents.
